Development Permit

Certain lands in Delta are designated as development permit areas. The Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaw contains guidelines and requirements for 21 development permit (DP) areas in North Delta, Ladner and Tsawwassen. These DP areas include guidelines respecting:

• The form and character of new commercial, industrial or multi-family residential development,
• The protection of new development from hazardous conditions (flooding, land slippage), and
• The protection of the natural environment.
