Site Profile
If you know, or reasonably should know, that the land (or buildings) you are currently developing were used for industrial or commercial activity, provincial law requires that a site profile must be submitted along with the following applications:
- Subdivision,
- Rezoning,
- Development or variance permits,
- Soil removal permits, or
- Demolition permits
The purpose of a Site Profile is to identify potentially-contaminated land and require clean-up by responsible persons to standards appropriate for the use of the land. For more information and a copy of the site profile form, please go to the Government of British Columbia's Ministry of Environment Land Remediation web page.
