Mandate
The Committee will develop and advise regarding implementation of a Ladner Waterfront concept plan for the consideration of Council that addresses the following:
- establishing a vision for the waterfront
- identifying appropriate land use
- public access to the waterfront
- open space concepts and other functions and amenities
- protection and enhancement of heritage features
- design characteristics for new buildings and structures
- transportation strategy (including parking)
- environmental objectives
- heritage component
The Committee will provide comment and guidance to Delta staff and its consultants on the development of a revitalization concept plan and its implementation. The Committee will participate in communication and consultation with the public and stakeholders, as appropriate.

Meeting Schedule
The Committee shall meet on a monthly basis and/or at the call of the Chair.

Membership
The Committee shall consist of nine (9) members appointed or as otherwise directed by Council, who shall serve without compensation as follows:
- Two (2) members of Council (Chair & Vice-Chair);
- Seven (7) community members, including one representative of the Ladner Business Association
