Role and Responsibilities

The Human Resources and Corporate Planning Department provides leadership and services in the area of human resources to Council, staff and the public including:

• Employment opportunities
• Compensation and benefits
• Training and development
• Occupational health and safety
• Labour and employee relations

The Department also coordinates inter-departmental corporate planning initiatives, including business planning, Boundary Bay Airport, economic development, library services, tourism and special projects.
