Tsawwassen Area Plan Review

Update

  • What are the next steps following the survey results?
    That the Tsawwassen Area Plan Review Committee consider incorporating the recommendations from the Council report entitled Ipsos Reid Tsawwassen Area Plan Survey in the new Tsawwassen Area Plan for consideration by Mayor and Council.

    That the Tsawwassen Area Plan Review Committee report back to Council with the recommendations, for consideration by Mayor and Council, by August 30, 2010.

    First and Second reading of the new Tsawwassen Area Plan and a Public Hearing to follow the August 30, 2010 Tsawwassen Area Plan Review Council Report.
  • Where are we now in the process?
    The Corporation of Delta is in the process of updating the Tsawwassen Area Plan. The plan has not undergone a comprehensive review since it was adopted in 1992. Beginning last fall, public meetings have been held to receive input from community members and hear what people would like to see for the future of Tsawwassen. A traffic analysis is also underway which is expected to be completed this summer.
