Mountain View Park Playground - Grand Opening

The press and the public are invited to join Mayor Lois E. Jackson and Delta Council, and the Delta Parks, Recreation & Culture Commission for the Grand Opening of the Mountain View Park Playground, to be held Sunday, September 11, 2005 at 1:30pm. Mountain View Park is located in the 6100 Block and 49B Avenue in Ladner.

The Mountain View Park Playground installation is part of the Playground Equipment Replacement Program initiated to ensure that all of Delta's park playgrounds have been updated to today's standards. The Playground Equipment Replacement program will be concluded in 2005, a year earlier than first projected.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 1:30pm on Sunday, September 11, 2005 to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Playground, followed by a neighbourhood BBQ picnic.
