Website Events Calendar Enhancements

3:00 pm Effective today, changes have been implemented to the Events calendar on the Corporation of Delta's website. Both corporate and recreation events are now combined into one single listing (previously separated into two listings). This change was implemented to simplify access to all events. A "RSS" feed (Really Simple Syndication) function icon has also been added to the Events calendar. This function allows individuals to subscribe to our Events calendar to receive email alerts each time a new event is posted. RSS allows users to avoid having to constantly check our Events calendar for new postings. A function to add an event to either your "Google calendar" or "Outlook calendar" was also added beneath each event. This will serve as an easier one-step method to adding/tracking events in electronic calendars.
