Flood Damage Assessment - Boundary Bay and Beach Grove

The Honourable John Les, Minister of Public Safety and her worship, Mayor Lois E. Jackson toured the flood damaged areas of Tsawwassen this morning.

The Minister praised the good work of residents, municipal crews and Provincial Emergency Program (PEP) staff.

The clean-up efforts are ongoing and the Minister has pledged the Province's financial assistance in accordance with the Province's Disaster Financial Assistance Program.

The Corporation of Delta has offered its full assistance to PEP staff in terms of administrative support while the Province processes claims from residents.
