There was no further flooding in Boundary Bay and Beach Grove overnight. Municipal staff and residents continue the clean-up from Saturday's flooding. With the favourable change in weather, crews have been able to get on top of the situation. Water continues to be pumped from flooded areas. It is anticipated that the pumping will continue for the balance of the day. There was an excellent response from municipal staff and residents working together to alleviate the situation. The Corporation of Delta would like to extend their thanks to all those who provided assistance during the flood event. Her worship, Mayor Lois E. Jackson will be contacting the Province to request their assistance through the Provincial Emergency Program (PEP) for those residents that experienced flooding.
