Delta's Emergency Program Manager Receives Two Awards

Mayor Lois E. Jackson, Delta Council and Chief Administrative Officer George V. Harvie would like to congratulate Delta's Emergency Program Manager, Ms. Heather Lyle on recently receiving two lifetime achievement awards from the Emergency Social Services Association (ESSA) and the Emergency Preparedness Conference. Ms. Lyle's commitment to emergency preparedness and enhancing public safety is truly remarkable. Her expertise in this field makes her an invaluable asset to the Corporation of Delta.  

Ms. Lyle was seconded to Emergency Management BC in July 2008 as the Manager of Integrated Public Safety responsible for coordinating emergency management plans for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and will return to the Corporation of Delta following the games.

Again congratulations to Ms. Lyle for her outstanding achievements!
