Emergency Reception Centre set up at Kennedy Seniors' Recreation Centre

Strong winds and rain are continuing. High tide has passed and flooding has been minimal.

Power outages are being reported in North Delta.

Eight schools are without power. Schools affected are Sunshine Hills, Devon Gardens, Heath, Richardson, Jarvis, Brooke, Cougar Canyon and Burnsview. Burnsview secondary students are being released early. The other schools will be retaining children until the end of the day.

Kennedy Seniors' Recreation Centre has been set up as a Reception Centre at 11760 88th Avenue, North Delta.

Traffic signals are also reported out at a variety of locations. Four-way stop procedures are in effect.
