Elector Organizations

The Local Government Election of Mayor, Councillors and School Trustees will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008. An elector organization is an organization that endorses the election of a particular candidate. If an elector organization intends to endorse one or more candidates in this election, and wishes to have its name on the ballot along with the candidate's name, the organization must have been in existence for at least 60 days and have had a membership of at least 50 electors of the local government for that period. The last day for establishment of an elector organization that wants to endorse a candidate in this election is August 10, 2008.
