Polar Bear Swim

Start the year with a 'refreshing' dip in the waters of Boundary Bay with 300 or more other 'polar bears'. The Polar Bear Registration Form can be completed in advance for quicker registration upon arrival at Boundary Bay on January 1st. Prizes are awarded to first, second and third place swimmers to the bell, the oldest swimmer and the swimmer from furthest away.

The swim takes place at Boundary Bay Regional Park in Tsawwassen. Spectators are welcome and everyone is encouraged to attend in warm clothing and sturdy waterproof footwear. This event features entertainment for the whole family including children's activities, stilt walkers and more!
