Remembrance Day Ceremonies 2012
Nov 11, 2012
Every year on November 11th, Canadians pause for a moment of silence in remembrance of the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace keeping. We honour those who fought and gave their lives and their futures so that we may live in peace.
Remembrance Day Ceremonies in Delta are held in two locations:
- North Delta Social Heart Plaza: The ceremony, presented by the Kennedy House Seniors Society, includes local school children and veterans. The ceremony will be followed by refreshments at North Delta Recreation Centre.
