Light Urban Search and Rescue Seminar - South Delta

Delta Police, in cooperation with Delta Fire and Rescue Services and the Corporation of Delta, will host two upcoming Light Urban Search and Rescue seminars. Learn about the most common search and rescue techniques used to search a building and remove trapped and injured individuals, while ensuring personal safety.
The session will offer advice on how to plan and implement a safe search and any subsequent rescue. Each neighbourhood emergency preparedness unit should have a search and rescue team. The seminar is open to the public and neighbourhood emergency preparedness unit members. Instruction provided by Surrey Search and Rescue.
