Delta's waste management strategy rests on the three R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Our services include:

• Collection Schedule - collection schedules and maps for garbage, recycling, yard trimmings and spring cleanup.
• Garbage - collection guidelines, Zero Waste Challenge and holiday waste reduction tips.
• Recycling - blue box and apartment collection guidelines, Recycling and Disposal Directory, Provincial take-back programs, recycling plastic bags and house-hold hazardous waste.
• Yard Trimmings and Composting - collection guidelines, material drop-off location, backyard composting, holiday disposal (trees, pumpkins), and natural yard care (grass cycling, leaf mulching).
• Spring Clean-Up - collection guidelines and pick-up dates. 
• Organics Pilot Study - program information, important dates and contact information.
