Vancouver Airport Fuel Delivery Project
Project
The Vancouver Airport Fuel Facilities Corporation has proposed an aviation fuel delivery project that includes a marine terminal and fuel receiving facility at an existing industrial site located at the foot of Williams Road in Richmond on the south arm of the Fraser River, and an underground fuel pipeline connecting the marine terminal, receiving facility and Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
The BC Environmental Assessment Office approved a request by the proponent to include this project in the BC Environmental Assessment process. An Environmental Assessment Application has been submitted and the formal review of this application is ongoing which included a public comment period that ended on April 26, 2011.
