Property Taxes

The 2012 property tax due date is July 3, 2012.

Property Taxes are calculated based on the assessed value of your property, which is provided by BC Assessment.

The property tax notice also includes levies from other taxing authorities, such as the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (TransLink), BC Assessment (BCA), Municipal Finance Authority (MFA) as well as the School Tax Administration. Delta does not control rates for these taxing authorities, but acts as collector on behalf of those authorities. Delta Council has control over the rate setting of municipal taxes only.
