Cycling Routes
Throughout Delta a network of cycling routes exist which are either owned by the Corporation or by Metro Vancouver. These routes are either off-street routes (including dikes), on-street routes or informal cycling routes.
Off-street cycling routes may be either - concrete, asphalt or gravel and can be shared with pedestrians or equestrians which is usually the case. Delta does not have any exclusive off-street cycling routes at this time.
On-street cycling routes include marked cycle lanes, and form part of the asphalt pavement of the road.
Informal cycling routes are shared pavement with vehicular traffic such as 64 Avenue in North Delta.
