Recycle your pumpkins after Halloween and help keep them out of the landfill.

How to Recycle your Pumpkin?

Pumpkins can be placed out with yard trimmings on your scheduled pickup day - please place pumpkins on top of your yard trimmings material inside your can or bag or place them beside your material at the curb (20kg max for bags and cans).

Pumpkins and other yard trimmings material are taken to a local composting facility where they are turned into valuable soil.

Pumpkins can also be placed in your backyard composter (break them into smaller pieces first so they break down faster). For information on Delta's subsidized Backyard Composter program, visit our composter webpage.
