How to Stay Informed

In the event of a flood, The Corporation of Delta will advise the media (TV/radio) of emergency response routes and destination information. Delta Cable Channel 4 will carry the following advisories:

• High Stream Flow - water levels are rising quickly but no major flooding is expected.
• Flood Watch - water levels are continuing to rise and may exceed the height of the riverbank or dike. The threat of flooding to surrounding areas is high.
• Flood Warning - water has overtopped or breached the riverbank or dike and flooding is occurring.
