Delta's Five-Stage Flood Management Plan

Delta's Emergency Plan includes a Five-Stage Flood Management Plan that outlines specific roles and responsibilities for city staff for each of the five stages of flood response. All relevant individuals and departments are aware of their involvement at each stage and are prepared to respond if required.

Winter Storm Preparedness

In recent years, Delta has taken a proactive and comprehensive approach to flood preparedness and mitigation including flood forecasting and warning systems, emergency preparedness initiatives and structural measures for flood control and land-use planning.
